Shot Quality is a comprehensive shot evaluation metric that covers direction, distance, and spin. With AI Trainer, you are able to analyze it with precision based on four key factors: Carry, Side Carry, Side Angle, and Spin Axis. Using this in depth analysis, you can refine your shots with greater precision to improve both shot direction and distance.

Shot Quality Analysis Factors

Carry: The distance the ball travels through the air before hitting the ground.

Side Carry: The lateral distance the ball deviates from the target line during its flight.

Side Angle: The angle at which the ball initially departs from the target line, indicating how far left or right it starts.

Spin Axis: The tilt of the ball’s spin axis relative to the horizontal plane, indicating how much the spin leans left or right.

It's important to note that AI Trainer analyzes professional players' data and defines similar-level performance as a good shot. Your score given is generated through a comprehensive evaluation of the identified checkpoints and Shot Quality, which is presented back to you with the key areas to work on, as well as letting you know what you did correctly. It's important to note that while you can of course use the AI trainer feature with any club, currently the driver and 7-iron have integrated modes available. What this means is that the AI Trainer’s evaluation criteria may vary depending on the selected club type during the session.  As we improve and update our AI Trainer, more features will be available to use to help you achieve more satisfying and confident swings.
