Is your PC's internet connection hard-wired? If so, it is possible that your internet connection has inadvertently been configured with the static IP intended for connection to our launch monitors, preventing some communications with the internet.
To ensure that your hard-wired connection has not been inadvertently configured with a static IP address, please follow these steps:
Open Control Panel
Go to Network and Sharing Center
Click Change adapter settings
Clear the static IP for each of your Ethernet adapters:
Right-click the network interface, then click Properties from the popup dialog
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the new Properties window, and click Properties
Choose Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically from the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, then click OK (twice) to save your changes
After clearing the static IP for every Ethernet adapter, try reconnecting to Uneekor Launcher. If this works, please make sure to go through the device setup once more via Settings > Devices > Add a new device, as you will need to reconfigure the static IP for your launch monitor (and possibly Balance Optix®) now that you have cleared the IP for all Ethernet adapters.
Uneekor product connectivity issues
All launch monitors
Make sure you are using either the provided Ethernet cable, or a CAT6 or higher-rated cable, for connecting the launch monitor to your PC's onboard Ethernet port.
Make sure the connection is still established to your launch monitor:
Navigate to the Settings menu (top-right) within Uneekor Launcher
Enter the Devices menu, then click Add a new device
Select the launch monitor you want to reestablish a connection to, then follow the on-screen steps
Unplug and plug back in the Ethernet cable (on both the PC side and launch monitor side) to ensure a secure connection is established.
Additional steps for EYE MINI
If you are using the EYE MINI with an Ethernet cable, then make sure you are using either the provided Ethernet cable (or a CAT6 or higher-rated cable), in order to connect the launch monitor to either your PC's Ethernet port, or a router, wall jack, or network switch.
Verify the EYE MINI's onboard Ethernet and Wi-Fi settings are configured based on how it is connected, as follows:
Connected to PC via Ethernet (Direct)
Ethernet → Static
Wi-Fi → Station(Client)
Connected to PC wirelessly (Direct or Network)
Ethernet → Static or Dynamic
Wi-Fi → Station(Client)
Connected to router, wall jack, or network switch
Ethernet → Dynamic
Wi-Fi → Station(Client)
Connected to iPad
Ethernet → Static or Dynamic
Wi-Fi → AP(Access Point)
If you are using the EYE MINI on Wi-Fi without Ethernet connection, then to ensure a stable connection between it and your PC, please ensure your SSID (Wi-Fi network) is broadcasting at least one of the following supported networks bands & channels:
2.4 GHz Band:
1 ~ 11
5 GHz Band:
36, 40, 44, 48
52, 56, 60, 64
100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 132, 136, 140
149, 153, 157, 161, 165
Should you experience issues with the EYE MINI's connection to your Wi-Fi, you may need to temporarily reconnect the Ethernet cable to the EYE MINI and PC during troubleshooting (i.e., rejoining the EYE MINI to your Wi-Fi network through Uneekor Launcher).
Balance Optix® mat
Make sure you are using the provided Ethernet cable, or a CAT5 or higher-rated cable, for connecting the Balance Optix® mat to your PC,router, wall jack, or network switch.
Verify that you have installed the Balance Optix® mat with the correct connection method.
Direct: For wired connection of Ethernet cable from Balance Optix® mat to PC via either the provided USB-Ethernet adapter or second onboard Ethernet port
Network: For wired connection of Ethernet cable from Balance Optix® mat to router, wall jack, or network switch
If using the Direct connection method, then make sure a connection is still established to the Balance Optix® mat:
Navigate to the Settings menu (top-right) within Uneekor Launcher
Enter the Devices menu, then click Add a new device
Select the launch monitor you want to reestablish a connection to, then follow the on-screen steps
While the Balance Optix® mat is capable of Wi-Fi connection, Uneekor software does not fully support this feature, and using it may lead to unexpected complications and glitches. For this reason, we do not recommend or support Wi-Fi connectivity with Balance Optix® at this time.
