What are the recommended placement and orientation for Swing Optix® cameras?

To ensure optimal performance of your Swing Optix® cameras (as well as AI Trainer if licensed), follow these recommended placement and orientation tips:

  1. Down-the-Line Camera (Telephoto Lens):
    • Position: Place this camera behind the turf, lined up with the player.
    • Distance: Set it 6 ft away from the player.
    • Height: Set it at about waist height or 45 inches (driver length) from the ground.
    • Orientation: Ensure the entire body and club are visible in the frame. Adjust the zoom, aperture, and focus for a clearer image.
  2. Face-On Camera (Fisheye Lens):
    • Position: Place this camera directly in front of the player.
    • Distance: Set it 5 ft away from the player.
    • Height: Set it at about waist height or 45 inches (driver length) from the ground.
    • Orientation: Ensure the entire body and club are visible in the frame. Adjust the focus for a clearer image.
