Impact is the decisive moment when all the energy of your swing is transferred to the ball. If precision at this point is lacking, it can lead to significant differences in distance, direction, and spin, which is why proper positioning is critical. Build a stable and reliable impact feel with AI Trainer. The AI Trainer has 12 checkpoints at Impact:
Head lifted
The head is lifted and away from the chest compared to the set up.
Head drops
The head is lowered and positioned into the chest compared to the set up.
Head leans back during impact
The head falls away from the body during impact.
Head leans forward during impact
The head falls too far towards the target during impact.
Excessive slide
The lead leg is shifting towards the target excessively.
Hanging back
The weight falls towards the trail side through impact.
Lack of lateral movement
The lower body lacks lateral movement.
Head position is too far forward
The head is positioned further forward than the lead shoulder.
Head position is too far backward
The head is positioned further behind than the lead shoulder.
Lack of hip turn
The pelvis lacks the proper rotation at impact.
Lead arm bend
The lead arm is bent and lifted.
Scooping
The club head is released too early at impact.
Paying attention to these key areas when making impact with the ball is cruical in order to making the cleanest contact possible. It's important to note that while you can of course use the AI trainer feature with any club, currently the driver and 7-iron have integrated modes available. What this means is that the AI Trainer’s evaluation criteria may vary depending on the selected club type during the session. As we improve and update our AI Trainer, more features will be available to use to help you achieve more satisfying and confident swings.
